The Best Business

If your New Year’s resolution is to read and learn more, this is for you. As an entrepreneur in the content marketing world, reading is a must for me. If you’re a leader within a company,
it’s a must for you, too. Even if you don’t have time to read the latest New York Times bestseller, you can find time for each short article on this list.
I compiled some of my favorites, as well as the editor’s picks from some of my go-to publications, for a list you need to read.

1. Start-up Advice – How to Gain Immediate Traction Before and After Launch
Patrick Ambros article in The Washington Post helped me understand the strategy behind launches.
2.The best part is that he actually backed it
up by launching Brand Yourself very successfully in March 2012.
Confessions of a Woman in Advertising
I can thank the wonderful women I work with at DTA for exposing me to this article on Brigida. It opened my eyes to things I overlooked as a man in the marketing industry, and it spurred a lot of great conversation around the topic.
3. How to Commit Internet Suicide and Disappear from the Web Forever
Thorin Klosowski describes something many believe impossible: actually vanishing from the Internet. It’s not something I anticipate doing anytime soon, but this article is one of my favorite pieces from Lifehacker.
